Workshops and seminars

 

In order to provide our students with clear understanding of their future jobs and how the skills they acquire at school will be important when making part of a team in a company, our school organized several workshops and seminars.

 

We had some former FORAVE students, now employed in local companies, sharing information about their years at school and about their jobs and the skills required by their employers.

 

During the project, we were also visited by technicians and managers, working in companies from several economic sectors related with our field of study, who shared their knowledge on specific topics related with their jobs and who answered our questions and doubts.

 

Finally, we also had workshops and seminars focused on employability and job searching. Human Resources Directors, Job Centre Directors and Employment Agencies talked with us about companies’ requirements and expectations in what concerns our hard skills, but also our soft skills. Moreover, they also showed us how to search for a job, how to write our CV and how to prepare for a job interview.
