Students, parents and  teachers´ opinions

I think my in this project was very important because I had the chance to improve my knowledge and skills in several areas and subjects. During the two years, we made research works and presentations, interviews and a survey enhancing my skills in foreign languages and ICT as we had French lessons and all the project works and activities were done in English and using different computer programmes (PowerPoint presentations, videos, etc).

I also learned a lot about the world of work.  I listened to some professionals talking about their work experience, learned how to write my CV, how to behave in a job interview and I also got to know employers’ expectations concerning vocational schools ‘students.

Finally, I had the chance to meet and work with students from a different school and country with whom I discovered a different country, its places, ways of living and traditions.

Overall, this was an amazing experience which I hope to experience again next year.

I think this Comenius project was extremely important for João´s personal and professional growth. It was a project he was committed for two years and that allowed him to broaden his horizons through the interaction with people from different countries and cultures.

I must say that João was really enthusiastic with the project activities and the chance to visit another country and to get to know its culture.

In the beginning, João was a bit worried about living with someone who he hadn’t met before in a country which language he didn´t understand very well, but everything  went well because João´s host was also enthusiastic with this new experience and both made their best during the stay in Abbeville.

In my opinion, this was a very positive and enriching experience for all the participating students.

2013 was the year when I began my participation in the European project Team at my school. It was also the year when this project started, so I could see the way students and teachers got involved and worked together.

I think this project was very important as it allowed students to improve their knowledge of foreign languages- I attended some of the French lessons, too! – and it enhanced skills like team work, autonomy,

One of the activities I considered most valuable were the one-day work placements as students really learned a lot with this experience and when they shared it with their colleagues, we had other students asking us to do it, too.
