Students, parents and  teachers´ opinions

“Thanks to my colleagues, I had the opportunity to supervise a field trip within the framework of a Comenius project. Here is a personal comment: this kind of project is a different way to arouse students’ interest in Europe ! It also makes them realize how important English learning is in today’s world. Teachers, as for them, have another insight and can see their students in another light. Of course, it takes a great deal of motivation and involvement on the teachers’ behalf because leading such a project requires a greater amount of time and preparation than a regular field trip or school exchange.”

Valérie Kobsch,  Spanish teacher

“First of all, I would like to thank both teams in France and Portugal for organizing the students’ meetings.

Retrospectively, we have now noticed further links between our students have strengthened and they are more likely to communicate.

For instance, our students from the vocational high school gradually feel more confident  to show some new motivation for school.

Teachers have also witnessed this keen interest in school activities and, for some students, a better insight into their future job.”

 Mrs LIENART, Lycée Saint Pierre

“I was very happy to see Ana again ! This stay enabled me to discover another country and to develop links of friendship.”

Audrey Le Person, student

“This project is a good thing for both countries to be able to share experiences. It is a way to motivate the students to learn another language, apart from English. It also motivates the students to travel abroad.”

Benjamin Hornoy, student

“My son has improved his English. This project was interesting and enriching for the students because they could discover another way of life  in another country. Maybe, they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do this otherwise. It may make them feel like travelling more in the future.”

M.Mme Hornoy, mother of Benjamin Hornoy)

“This was an opportunity to be more open-minded, to discover another way of life and another culture, to communicate in another language.”

M.Mme Le Person, mother of Audrey Le Person
